*** TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TIME AT HOTEL XCARET MEXICO, MY BEST ADVICE IS TO PRE-PLAN YOUR DAYS AHEAD AND MAKE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE.

Important Tip: Many of these excursions that require reservations, will be booked up quickly. So I would suggest sending in your reservation requests as early as 30 days in advance.

How Do I Make Reservations?
Step 1: You need to email your request to the Hotel Xcaret Guests Services Department at dxguestservice@hotelxcaret.com. 
Step: 2: In the email provide the lead passengers name on your reservation, your reservation confirmation number (this is a special number sent in your email with the link to this site), and your dates of stay. 
Step 3: In the email also include: the excursions you want to participate in that require reservations and the potential dates you want to do them. They also need to know how many people in your group will be participating (adults and children). Allow for flexibility of dates in case something is already booked. 
Step 4: They do not always respond right away -- but typically you will hear back from someone within a week. If you don't receive a reply, call the resort directly and ask to speak to Guests Services.  

IMPORTANT: If you need to change your plans or cancel, you must do so at least 24-hours before your scheduled reservation (this applies to restaurants and excursions or they will charge a $25/person no-show fee to your room). If you are not yet at the hotel, email them. If you are at the hotel and need to change or cancel something, go to or call the concierge desk (it is located across the check-in desk).  

WHAT EXCURSIONS OR PARKS REQUIRE A RESERVATION?

You will receive free admission & other amenities to the following theme parks and tours:

(Note: As a guest at Hotel Xcaret, you can get a free locker to hold your belongings at any of these parks: Xcaret Park, Xenses, Xplor, Xplor Fuego and Xavage.)

XEL-HA (all day outing) Includes all food & beverages. REQUIRES ADVANCED RESERVATION

XCARET (can visit anytime from morning to late afternoon. There is a spectacular night show and as a guests you get prime seating) One meal included while at park during the day. The dinner during the night show is not included. Pink shuttle bus pickup from the resort to Xcaret every 20-30 minutes. 

XAVAGE (lunch buffet included) The extreme adventure park -- it does take an entire day morning pickup and late afternoon drop off. REQUIRES ADVANCED RESERVATION

XPLOR (closed on Sundays) Buffet included. Pink shuttle bus pickup from the resort to Xcaret every 20-30 minutes. 

XPLOR FUEGO (closed on Sundays) Evening version of Xplor and open nightly until 11:30pm, except Sundays. Buffet included. Pink shuttle bus pickup from the resort to Xcaret every 20-30 minutes. 

XENSES (closed on Sundays) No meals included. Can be completed in 2-4 hours. Pink shuttle bus pickup from the resort to Xcaret every 20-30 minutes. They now offer a daytime visitng hours or nighttime visiting hours. REQUIRES ADVANCED RESERVATION

XENOTES (all day outing from 8 a.m to 5 p.m.) One meal included (closed on Sundays). REQUIRES ADVANCED RESERVATION

XOXIMILCO (evening outing from 6 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.) One meal, beer and tequila included. (the meal is not truly filling, it's more so a tasting experience, so I advise going to dinner before this trip or ordering room service once you're back at the hotel). REQUIRES ADVANCED RESERVATION

XCARET XIALING (all day outing on this boat ride to Isla Mujeres) No meals included with this outing. The ferry to Isla Mujeres is included. Board modern vessels that take you to discover this beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea. Round trip transportation to El Embarcadero Isla Mujeres by Xcaret in Cancun's Hotel Zone is included.
 
XICHEN DELUXE TOUR (all day outing from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.) Buffet included. REQUIRES ADVANCED RESERVATION -- the resort is now charging a small fee for this excursion of $33/person

TULUM-XEL HA (all day outing from 8 a.m to 6 p.m.) Includes Buffet at Xel-HA. REQUIRES ADVANCED RESERVATION

COBA-XEL HA (all day outing from 8 a.m to 6 p.m.) Includes Buffet at Xel-HA. REQUIRES ADVANCED RESERVATION

* No reservations are required for Xcaret, Xplor, and Xplor Fuego.
** Xenses, Xel-há, Xenotes, Xoximilco, Xialing and Xichen require reservations be made in advance.
